Window cleaning for a new-build handover

A new flat looks clean until you look closely at the windows. Protective stickers, silicone residue, construction dust and spots of paint come as standard with any handover — and most of it will not come off with ordinary cleaning.

The moment before you move into a new flat is the best opportunity you will ever get to clean the windows properly: the place is empty, there is no furniture to move, no curtains in the way, and every corner is reachable without shifting a thing. Once you have moved in, it is far more complicated.

We take off every protective sticker from the glass and the profiles, clean the silicone residue around the frames, vacuum the window and shutter tracks free of construction dust, and wash everything with purified water.

Many customers book us alongside a snagging survey — when the windows are clean it is far easier to spot cracks, scratches in the glass or defects in the profile that you will want the developer to put right before you sign.
