Reverse-osmosis window cleaning up to 18 metres
The hardest windows to clean are always the highest ones. We reach them from ground level with a telescopic pole system and purified water — up to around 18 metres, which is roughly six storeys.
The water we send up the pole is filtered by reverse osmosis to remove its minerals. Water like that dries on the glass without leaving marks — which is critical when nobody can climb up and wipe it by hand.
Above 18 metres, or on facades with no ground access, we switch to rope access — abseiling. That work is carried out by our own operatives, certified for work at height, with equipment inspected before every use. Before a project like that we always come out to check the anchor points, the roof access, and the working and safety conditions.
One of the most common uses of the method is actually indoors: an entrance lobby with a high ceiling and a glass wall two or three storeys tall. Those are exactly the windows nobody cleans, because reaching them normally means scaffolding or a platform. With the poles we clean them from the lobby floor — without bringing heavy equipment inside and without closing off the entrance.
What the service includes
- Ground-level access up to 18 m — roughly six storeys, with no scaffolding and no platforms.
- No disruption to residents — no need to enter flats, clear parking spaces or close off walkways.
- Purified water only — no water spots on the glass, even though nothing is wiped by hand.
- High lobbies and internal glass walls — cleaned from the lobby floor, with no scaffolding and without closing the entrance.
- Certified, purpose-built equipment — light, stable carbon poles kept in regular maintenance.
- Clean working — we lay down protection, leave no puddles and do not dirty the entrance.

Frequently asked questions
How many storeys is 18 metres?
Roughly six, depending on the floor-to-floor height of the building. If you are not sure, send us a photo of the building from outside and we will tell you exactly how far up we can reach.
What about windows higher than that?
Above that height we work by rope access — abseiling. It is a field that requires separate certification, and the team that carries it out for us holds it. Before the job we come out to confirm there are compliant anchor points and safe access to the roof.
Do parking spaces need to be cleared?
Usually not. We only need a narrow standing strip along the facade. If there is a specific obstruction we will ask in advance for it to be moved for an hour or two.
Do you clean high lobbies from the inside as well?
Yes, and it is one of the most common uses of the method. A lobby glass wall two or three storeys tall is cleaned from the lobby floor — no scaffolding, no platform, and without closing the entrance.
